The 2015 Boardroom Summer Slam saw 200 competitors (plus their families and siblings) enjoy immacualte conditions for beginner surfers.
A volunteer crew of helpers pushed kids into waves and offered support to those who needed it. Surfboards and free surfing lessons were also made available to those who had never tried this popular and iconic sport. And, thanks to generous corporate support, every participant left with a prize and a massive smile on their face.
The event is all about being at the beach with your family and going out for a surf with your mates, with the focus being on participation not competition. ECT's funding enabled organisers to invest in better advertising, supporting a growing and increasingly important local event.
