Eastland's Community Trust's new offices are furnished in green to represent growth as the bigger space, combined with two new staff, heralds a new beginning.
The new premises are behind Visique Eastland Eyecare on Gladstone Road.
The General Manager Leighton Evans said people who wanted to know anything about the Trust now have somewhere to go.
"We are very conscious of the costs but our desire to be proactive about implementing some new projects and ideas meant we needed on-the-ground support devoted to our beneficiares. The extra support will allow us make sure the Trust makes a positive contribution on behalf of the beneficiaries."
Mr Evans has been joined by two new staff members.
Chartered accountant Phil McLeod, a former partner at Endeavour Chartered Accountants, is ECT's new project manager.
Yvonne Berry is the new executive assistant and will be the face people see when they walk through ECT's doors. She spent the past 15 years as office manager for surveying firm Grant & Cooke.
